The Real3D Places concept originated from it's founder, Ken Cummings. Seeing small downtown retailer's like those in historic Howell, MI struggle to survive in the attempt to compete with internet sales, big-box stores, parking and other concerns, Ken began to work on a computer simulation product idea he thought of one evening watching his son’s play a video game.

Ken's idea was to blend 3D technology, internet access and e-commerce together, creating interactive, realistic simulations of real-wold locations for applications such as promotion, marketing, advertising, visualization, and exploration. Once built, these simulations become an ongoing, invaluable asset... a unique method to introduce/experience real-world locations - all built with real data.

The concept is now a reality.
What We Do & Why
We create 3D virtual interactive models of real-world locations (cities, resorts, developments, universities, corporate campuses, etc) for the purpose of e-commerce, promotion, visualization, exploration/travel, etc. We will deliver a visually stunning simulation so realistic and useful, visitors will be compelled to return time and time again.
How Does it Work?
Using a computer (Web/DVD) visitors can walk in 360 degree fluid motion within the location to explore, shop, find a job/for rent/for lease, etc. Mouse-clicking on interactive storefronts, signs, vehicles and other items will open that company's website and/or description/info page. Virtual locations are updated monthly for maximum value to visitors and proprietors alike.
Proof of Concept
Howell, Michigan was chosen for Phase 1: Proof-of-Concept (single city block) and Phase 2: 3D Howell Pilot Project. We're recreating a 9 block area of this beautiful and historic town. Options will include being able to subscribe for a web-link to your site, job offerings, etc.

Scheduled release - September 2008.
